Quiz 2

CH 5 Tour http://www.toyota.com/sitemap.html not anything I want lying around my house unless I need a big paper weight I do find pages with too much info. Parentcenter.com used to scroll and scroll and scroll and… well they got the idea of having pages per article and breaking it up into links of sections. Much better. I do find pages with two many jumps. Some of the parent center.com articles are of meals or toy lists. They only list a few before you have to click. I do like that they have come up with an option button here lately. You can click on a button and it will give it all on one page instead of the default broken pages. I would die if weather.com wasn’t updated but every three months. I avoid the news for periods of time because of propaganda, or I miss it. Then, I don’t get the newspaper. I go online to weather.com anytime I need the weather. Even with a slow computer it is better than any alternative I have. Even the weather channel isn’t good for someone with satellite. I can’t think of any time I have done the print, fax, mail in forms. It is too time consuming for my life. Quiz Print would work better because every stock holder has to have an address, but email is still limited. Web would be better for a graphic artist going to big city because it shows your in with the times and it gets there quicker and easier. Print would work well for a small company because it doesn’t have as much to send out. More frequent changes are better on the web. On the web you can publish what you want if it is okay copyright wise. Print will look the best… wysiwyg CH 6 Quiz I thought centering looked better than the left aligned default. I can’t group it any differently in the template. My quiz pages all have the same set up: answers, links to each quiz, link to the quiz main page, link to main page I used a different color per quiz. CH 7 Tour http://www.pcs.k12.va.us/public/ It is obvious that it is our county schools website, but not so obvious where the school district is. They have a good toolbar on the left and updated description boxes and news in the middle and right columns. Most of the links are clear, but I have looked for things in the past. Probably almost half are vague. All the pages I checked have the home page link. It is readable. Graphics are simple. I don’t like too many graphics or links. I do like the scrolling bar at the top. It keeps me watching for news. http://www.toyota.com/sitemap.html this site map is very clear to me. http://www.wachovia.com/ is a site map when you load it. It works really well. http://www.nasa.gov/sitemap/sitemap_nasa.html this is more of tables. I like how they are very separated. Maybe I am too tired, but I cannot figure out how to turn graphics off. The Toyota site might be hard to navigate without the graphics. I have to need the site to feel like exploring. I am way too concerned with time and needs. These are pretty good sites. The PCS site does need some clean up or something. It has too much on one page. My best example is wikipedia. I know it isn’t reliable, but it does give some info if you have none. I like to wander around if I am looking up an answer to a social question. Usually it has a link to everything in each sentence besides a or the or it. But, a lot of those cause me to look up others. I was looking up a bands song list and I spent way too much time because I got into it. CH 7 Quiz The bottom one has better buttons on the left toolbar and across the bottom. The top ones problem is that you can’t see it as well and you can’t see all the links at once. The bottom has the toolbar and a lighter background to see the images. The bottom one does seem to have a longer description. Whether this is good or bad, I can’t see.
