http://library.thinkquest.org/20991/alg/eq2.html Is a website that gives great help for many topics. Since I chose the one that we are working on this six weeks, that's what I looked up. It has yet another way of explaining the concept of solving an equation for one variable. It even has a quiz after. VERY HELPFUL. http://www2.guhsd.net/Algebra1/# This one has solving formulas which is really the whole purpose of solving multi-variable equations. There are activities that seem a little confusing, but with more time to look into it, I am sure it is something I could use. http://www.glencoe.com/sec/math/algebra/algebra1/algebra1_05/brainpops/index.php4/va I LOVE THIS SITE. There are various tools on it. The one that all teachers I have spoken to love, including none math, and the students love is brain pops. They are short videos with two animated characters always needing math for some real world application. It shows students how they need math and how to use math. They can then take an interactive quiz. I use it very often with my PowerPoint teaching.
